looking into getting a snowboard for christmas... im wanting to do mainly park/pipe type riding. my question is what company makes the best overall park/pipe board.

rome, gnu, forum....

kickers, rails, and half pipes. and i dont know what jibs are

Jibbing is messing around freestyling it either on the ground or on rails that may or may not be set up to be messed around on. Also, I think that Rome or Forum are your best options here...

Weight? Boot size? And there is no "best" board out there...just what YOU like the most.

ive been looking at the danny kass board, on ebay is gnu any good, and ive heard that forum is the same as burton... like burton bought them out or somthing idk.

weight 200 6'0, i dont know my boot size but i do wear a size 11 shoe with about 1/2 of a inch of room in them

First off, go into a store and get boots. Make sure your toes are barely touching the ends of them, because they'll pack out. You should make sure your boots are your most important piece of equipment. They are the basis for everything.


EDIT- Wait... have you ever even snowboarded before? If so, you aren't getting into the park for a while.

ya i have, never had my own board tho... rode friends and also rented boards. if it helps ive skateboarded for a long as time. only snowboarded for about a year tho

Before you venture into the park, get comfortable riding switch. Learn to ollie over shadows, and random things on trails.
