Guy using girl bindings? - Snowboarding Forum

I'm a guy 5'7 140 pounds. I was wondering if I could use Rome Madison Bindings (Women bindings) with my Rome Crail. They fit my northwave boots but would using it hurt my riding? Whats the difference between girls and guy bindings? Thanks.

Haha. They're the 07 Black ones soo they look fine to me. Is there difference in performance tho?

women bindings backs are shorter than mens,besides that i dont know what else could happen.

The binding is going to be built proportionately smaller for women's boots, so the highback, straps and so on and so forth will be smaller. If you've got size 5 mens boots, go for it. But if you've got "averaged" size feet, get the 390's.

womens calves are lower than mens are

so in theory, it wont let you use your full potential and it may even cause some sort of problem for you

I wouldn't worry too terribly much. If it ends up bothering you go with the 390s or Arsenals, but I don't see what the big deal is...

Thanks guys. Whats the difference between 390s and Arsenals? Anyone know sites where I can find last years models for cheap?
