Question Is my board size to big?

I have gone snowboarding four times last year and I love it. I recently went out to rent a board for this season, but I feel like my board size is too big.
The board the rental guy gave me is 158 cm.

Here's my information:

Height 5 ft. 11 in.
Weight: 126.4 lb
Boot size: 10.0
Riding style: all mountain
Age 16, not going to be growing anymore.

Also, I still feel like I am a beginner because I have not yet mastered turns.
Thanks!

umm... it would help if you told us what size your board was. judging from your specs, though, you should be on a 150-154.

I'm with kyouness, you could at least tell us what size your board is. At 130lbs, you should be on a 145-148. The 150-154 wouldn't be bad, but would be stiffer than a 145-148, IMO.

i'm with ya on the weight thing, DC. normally i wouldn't even bring height up, but he is the rare case of being very tall and very skinny. i'd ride a 146-148 and i weigh 135, but i'm also 5'8". i also assume he'll be gaining some weight since he's only 16.

Yeah, I agree with you that he'll be gaining some weight, hence the 148 option. A 148 board should be good for another 20lbs of weight gain and by that time, he'll want a new board anyways

Sorry about that. The board size the rental guy gave me was 158 cm.

I'm assuming that is much to big for me.

Slap the guy in the head the next time they try giving you a board that big. WTF?!

I'm about the same size as OP

weight: 130 lbs
height: 6'
US sneaker size: 10.5

Should I also be looking at a board under 154?
My skill level is the same as his as well.

Thanks
