Hi all, I've been riding an old burton custom for about 3 years now. The board is 160cm. I do mostly freeride and sometimes park.
I'm 5'6, 160lbs, and I wear a size 9. I just purchased a burton custom x 2009 152cm. Is that board too small for me? |

for freeride, yes, it is a bit too small. for your weight, you'll get a bit more sink than you should but the rocker should help with that. i weigh the same as you and my freeride is a 161. my all around stick is a 156. 155-57 would be a good all around size for you.
you'll survive just fine, but will prob have to work just a bit harder that you should |

hey op, you didn't make any mention of the fact that your custom felt too long. why did you downsize so dramatically with the custom x? why not just replace the custom with a custom x the same size?
no criticism - i'm always just curious about how and why people make decisions like this... alasdair |
