So I found this on craigslist, and I was wondering what you all think is a reasonable price for it. The owner says he only used it about 6 times. Also, currently I am solely an all mountain rider, but I would like to get into freestyle at some point (maybe not until next season though). Would the Anthem still be a good board for me? Also, keep in mind that I will be using this board for probably 3-4 years, so would I be better off buying a new board instead of a used one? Thanks.

insist on meeting him, when you look at it, check for major gouges/cuts on the base, major indents in the railing, and check the bolt pattern for the bindings you are using.
other than that, its up to you man. personally, i would never spend over 150 bucks on used mid-range boards. i have never ridden rome, so do not know to much about their style/quality. your best bet is to buy a used last season model... check out thehouse.com, they have tons of old stock for dirt cheap. look for anything that is your size, and a "true twin" shape, that eveness in the flex will help major with the park and riding switch. |

That board retails for $499, so depending on its condition, $200-250 should be fair.
I have an '07 Anthem, and it's great. Fast, stable, jumps well, good in the pipe. It's decent in the park, but it's pretty stiff for a freestyle board. |
