So i took my board out today just on a little hill since the mountains havent opened up yet. I did NOTHING even remotely stupid, just riding down the hill, walk back up etc etc
I get back home, look at the sidewall, and its cracked in like 20 different places D:
idk if you can see it that well in the picture, but basically its supposed to be smooth black and white lines like you see on the left side of the picture, but then theres maybe like 50 individual little cracks
Will this be covered by warranty? its a nitro t1, and its still under the two year waranty...or will I have to buy another one
That's a warranty issue. Contact Nitro or the shop you picked it up from (hopefully it's local). The shop can contact Nitro and you should get a new board out of it.
A good warranty will cover that. They don't cover damages that are the result of obvious abuse such at getting mad and snapping your board in half lol. This is a construction problem of the board so yea, get it warrantied. Another thing that a good warranty will do is get you the board back within two days of receiving it. So you are S.O.L. in that department. I wouldn't ride a board that is damaged like that.
Yea, might be the rust that makes it look like I see wood lol.
