Omatic possible defect? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys, i took out my board for the first time this season (living in NJ sucks.)

I noticed that there were small cracks on the bases at the edges of every letter and looks like wax has seeped into some of the cracks.

Anybody seeing this kind of problem from omatic, specifically boron models?

i've also contacted the customer service but no reply yet.

backcountry.
i know, they have lifetime return policy, but i wouldn't get my board in time. i'm going to vermont this weekend.

i wouldn't want to pay over 70 bucks to have it shipped by tomorrow for a $150 board either.

you think i can return it after i go to vermont?

I can tell you that board is from an old season as Backcountry does not have 0910 Omatic snowboards. I would suggest you email sales@omaticsnowboards.com about the defect. That sucks about VT. Maybe you can get them to ship your replacement to VT.

i just emailed them now. hopefully it won't get bigger or just a cosmetic damage.

hopefully omatic will look into it and i can have my board replaced.
