i saw that my base was cracked when i took out the board to wax it.
brand new, didn't even use it once. it's not huge cracks that are noticeable from miles away, but there are multiple small cracks. i tried waxing it anyway and the wax just seeped into the cracks only in some spots. i was wondering if a base can be so dry that it starts to crack or if this is just a defective board. thanks! |

no thats not good, the base is just plastic after all and i'm 99% sure its not gonna crack if it isn't waxed. It'll dry out but i highly doubt that it would crack. You base wouldn't happen to be a structured base would it? the "cracks" aren't uniformly distrubuted through out the base and form nice lines parallel to the edges? I really doubt this is the case becuase it would be pretty damn hard to mistake a structured base for a cracked one but thats the only thing i can think of. By the sounds of it your probably gonna want to go through warranty. What brand of board is it?
