Detune between your bindings, and the tip/tail.

What does that mean.

Dull the edges.

so would i have to sharpen them before I hit the mountain and how would i dull them?

you can detune with a diamond file that you can pick up any hardware store. Just use it to round of the sharpened edge. Make sure you Tune(sharpen) the edge between your bindings for sure before you hit the mountain. The nosw and tail edges arent such a big deal.

here is a vid of detuneing- YouTube - Learn how to Detune your board in two minutes flat

Also try to put some wax on that thing, or go in advance and ice it up a little. But if you do the latter make sure not to do it to the point where you'll have no control. But do one or the other, because if you don't that thing is sure to be sticky...

Bump to Stark...dont do both. I use sharp edges to jib on and I wax my board and I have never had a problem. However you said that the rail is wood...that could be a problem with sharp edges.

Yeah thanks. Somehow I forgot to mention that. :D

no prob just wouldnt want someone to biff it on a wood rail...prolly no the smartest spot but ill give props to a freestyle/jib rider any day!
