Default Snowboard Reccomendations? :)

I'm looking for some recommendations on snowboards!

all mountain I guess, I plan on taking it to park and just riding it

I'd say I'm beginner/intermediate. snowboarded for 3 days last year but I caught on really quickly ^^

Height: 5 ft 5.5 in
Weight: 105 lbs
Shoe size: 7.5/8

Not sure what else you need to know o-o well, I'm a girl? :-]

I'm on a TIGHT BUDGET. I'm only a sophmore in high school and must use 100% of my own money... so yea. Buying myself a christmas present ^^

edit: also for the shoes... the pair i have right now seems to jam my toe a bit? i cant describe it but i wore them for around 30 minutes and they hurt a lot... :/ too small?

2010 Ride Compact or Capita Space Metal Fantasy.

At 105 lbs, I'd recommend the 139 or 143 for the Compact. 143 for the Capita SMF which is the smallest size offered. Both have a form of anti-camber which will make it easier to ride at your skill level (we won't go into the debate about camber for beginners) and both are quality boards.

Not sure if they're out of your budget but priced between $350-370 full retail.

Check Craigslist as well. Sometimes you can find good deals on newer items. Feel free to post up any you find, I'm sure people here will give you their opinions on the board as well as the price for a used snowboard.

I think NS is gonna be a bit too pricey for her but I think it'd be a good board for her also. Shay has a good review on it on her website.

Look into last years boards from Capita and Nitro. They seem to be fairly low on the price scale but not too bad on quality.

SnoBun from here used the Rome Vinyl to learn on and loved it. It's a nice, inexpensive progression board made by a reputable company.

Heck, you sound like her height and weight, might wanna just PM her and ask if it's for sale. She got a NS Infinity herself for this season. She might be looking to unload the Vinyl. But for sure.
