newb sizing question

I'm 5'10/185#
Beginner-intermediate rider on north-eastern slopes.
Groomed trails, mostly - no park.
Looking for a laid-back all mountain type board.

Can I get by on a Rome Solution 158?
Or is that too short for me, do you think?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

PS I'm also looking at Rome Anthem (if I can find one that i can afford...), K2 Podium, Gnu CHB.
Similar sizing for them? Except I can probably ride the CHB (if with BTX) ~3-4cm shorter than the others, correct?

If you dont ride any park I wouldn't recommend the gnu, or any rocker board for that matter. A 158 is fine for non-park riding.

hey, thanks!

question: The Gnu CHB MTX (vs. BTX) is not a "rocker board", correct? I was thinking that their magnetraction tech (MTX) is tailor-made for eastern slopes?
