Unhappy Small damage on the board

Guys hallo.

This weekend i rode for the first time my new board and after two day riding returning back at home i realized that on the top of the board very close at the edge a hit took away the thin flake of the gel on the surface of the board(see attached picture).Do you believe that it's something i have to worry about? Is it possible the water to be able to get in the interior of the board from this small hit creating future problems on my board?

nothing to worry about at all. if you're worried, just sand it down a bit and fill with a little 2-part epoxy. i wouldn't worry about it.
