Post Looking for my first board/boots/bindings

Hey guys. This is my second year snowboarding, and so far I've only used rentals. I've only gone about 8 times in my life but every time was amazing. Anyways I want to stop using the crap rentals they have and get my own board so I can really start boarding. I live in Minnesota, and I'm only going to be on groomed snow. I'm pretty much only looking at all mountain boards, so... yeah. Any good boards for around $250 that I could use for maybe the next 3 years? Aside from the board, there's a snowboarding shop near where I live called The House. Should I go there to try on boots and bindings to see what I like first hand?

Thanks!!

i would definitely recommend that you go check out what they have at your local shop first, cuz chances are they'll have a great set-up for you there... i would also recommend you find someone who seems like they know what they are talking about who works there and explain to him/her your situation, ur price range, what ur looking for etc. and they could probably give you some decent suggestions.
