Can i use a regular edge sharperner to sharpen MTX Magnatraction edges? I have a normal edge sharpener and don't really want to buy another MTX specific one if it's not necessary

You own a board and a sharpener so why don't you try it and see?

You need a special magne-file to do it, otherwise you'll straighten out all those curves on your edge. It's just like a normal file but wavy.

You don't need anything special to sharpen MTX. A normal sharpener will do.....

But ya, be careful no to go at it to hard or you will straighten the whole board out. ( =
