06-07 ride kink still good?

Hey guys I have been doing a ton of park riding recently and am getting pretty good (can do 3's both ways and 180 cleanly onto rails). I weight 125lbs and ride a 151 06 burton seven in the park. I like the seven a lot because it was my first good snowboard (first real one was a lamar, gross). i feel that the time is up on my burton seven because last year i got two huge core shots, with one along my edge causing the edge to separate from the base which i kind of fixed with epoxy and ptex. I have always been interested in the Ride Kink but do not want to buy a new one because i know i will trash it in the park. I just found a kid in my school who has a 2006-2007 ride kink for sale. Im going to take a look at it but he says the base is good just the topsheet is delaming at the nose a little. My question is, would you buy an older board like this and if so how much would you pay for it max. Thanks so much!

This is the model (not the same colors though) i would be gettin it in a 147 which i think fits my weight better for park:
