NS Swift 2016 vs 2017

Does anyone know what changes this board underwent this year? Anything significant? I'm looking to buy one and have the option of a new 2016 model for $420 or this year's model for $600.

I'm really digging this year's model but want to know if it's worth that extra cash.

Thanks!

I just saved some cash on new 2016 172 Skunk Ape. About 200$ off but I have never rode a RCR board so I wanted to make sure love it before I drop the Big Bucks! Looked at the NS that looked like a great option for me as well !!

As far as I can tell nothing has changed but graphics, which by the way I really love the updated ones. I've got the 2016 with the white base and wish it was primarily blue! Get whatever will make you happiest

So the 2016 has the metal caps as well? Have you found it to handle chutes OK? Gotta get to tends pow... Anyways I would be happiest with the blue base but if that's the only change not for $180!

Yep has the metal on the tail and nose. I've only ridden it twice so far, I got it end of the season and so I had low pow days but I fell in love with it the first day I got on it. I've riden it on groomers, 6-10" of pow, trees, steep, sastrugi, crud and what not and I felt totally fine on it.

Actually, have you read through the thread Mizu-Kuma posted, "My take on the never summer swift?" That will give you more information on rider's experience including my own. I'll find a link...
