Help Deciding Between Crew or Sierrascope

So I have basically narrowed my options to the Sierra Crew (basically a Burton Custom) and the Sierrascope. I'm looking for a board that is good for everything, but with emphasis on freeride. From what I've read, I'm under the impression that the Sierra Crew would probably be better for cruising down the mountain, but I'm afraid that it will severely hinder my ability to ride in the park compared to the Sierrascope. The Sierra Crew would also save me $50.00, and although money is not a problem, it's always nice to save some. Any suggestions to help me pull the trigger?

Well, I guess what I really want to know is how much better the Crew would be than the Sierrascope for freeriding, and if the benefits are worth it when the Sierrascope would probably be much better for jibbing and presses.

Did you post this on the Sierra forums?

Anyways, get the Sierrascope. You'll be able to take it anywhere versus the Crew which is more freeride driven.

after some extensive research of my own the sierrascope is on it's way to my house. now i have yet to ride it obviously but from every single thing i read and people i have talked to this things shreds all over the mountain. it was hands down the best bang for my buck when talking rocker boards.

Oh man, you will be pleased. I sure hope you entered the coupon insidescope, though to save an extra $49.01.
