you should be fine... i wear size 11's and on both my boards i never catch my toes except on the most gnarly of turns... the kind where im practically dragging my body on the ground. and even then you dont really notice it.

Like they said you should be fine with a regular for majority of riding. On aggressive turns/carving I would say that you will get drag. I have 10.5 boots and choose to ride wide boards (at least 26) as i love to lay big fat carves over (Euro carves). I smply cant do that with reg boards. Yes edge to edge response is a little slower but only a little and for how i like to ride is worth the trade off.
