Noob question, need help - Snowboarding Forum

I'm new to the forum and snowboarding. Lots of good info on this forum. I fell in love with snowboarding last year and I loved it so much I've decided to get my own equipment and and learn the right way instead of learning with old school rentals which leads me up to my predicament. I bought a board after much research, '09 Lib Tech TRS BTX, and the online company I bought it from claims they are out of the board a few days after I had bought it. I called and made my way to a manager and to make a long story short he offered me 20% off any board and overnight shipping on them. I can afford the '10 BTX but I don't want to spend quite that much on a first board. Help on what would be a good board for me. I will be doing mainly freeride and some freestyle stuff both on hardpack, little to no powder.
I'm 5'6", 135, and wear a 7.5 street shoe. I already have my boots and bindings, 32 Lashed and let the flames begin Flow NXT FRX's. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.

check out the gnu riders choice. If you can get an 09 on the cheap it would be a great board to learn and progress on. It also wont hold you back in the future.
