Hey all,

I have a few years experience boarding, but am planning to really hit the slopes this season as I am finally out of college with a job and closer than ever before to the snow ( I live near Seattle, WA ).

What size and type of board should I get if I am 6'3, 200 lbs, 23 years old and do 50/50 park and groomed rides?

I am also looking for suggestions in terms of brands and boards to get. Although I haven't used them before, Flow bindings look good and come recommended from a friend who has them. I want to invest in a nice board/bindings package, possibly spending 700$.

Thanks all!

I'd say somewhere between 158 and 163 based on your weight. Where do you ride? Are you on the east or west coast? I ask because if your free riding will involve more poweder you may want to look at the higher end, if your on the east you can get away with a little shorter board...I'd probably go 160/161 though

Yeah, I always forget that people who don't live on the Ice Coast actually have something called "snow."
