so my buddy has a snowboard and i realize that his upper width and lower width does not match. I mean even the graphic seems like it was cut off.
So he was wondering if it is possible to shrink the board width? i mean he only rode the board twice or could it be a manufacturer defect..

What do you mean by upper and lower width? Nose wider than tail? Nose thicker than tail?

Depending on what you mean by your terminology, you might be talking about something completely normal.

in this case its tail wider than nose. I also compare the exact same snowboard to a picture i found online and it happens that the graphic on my friends snowboard is cut off.

What make/model?

Not all boards are made perfectly symmetrical but the tail shouldn't be wider than the nose, maybe he's riding it backwards.

You would need to show us a picture to figure out the graphic.

i see only one explanation, second edition board (which explains graphics) and this board got direction shape (which explains difference in width)
