Default I want to stain/dye/color part of my base

Has anyone tried to color part of your base? What is the best way to do this? Was thinking of using a sharpie pen... any thoughts?

Paint and roller.

EDIT: Make sure you use exterior satin latex.

Apply a design using standard paint or spray paint. Then put it in the oven or run a propane torch over the base to let the pores open up and suck in the paint so it will stay on after riding.

if you don't wanna use paint another alternative would be to use some rit dye, its for clothes but works well on plastics. No idea how it would work with making the designs you want but it might be something to look into.

Thanks, was considering rit dye but might be a little messy but might be my only option. I'm not too worried about any designs. basiclly, I have a board that has some provocative images on the top and base of my board. Nothing really bad but enough that you wouldn't want a 3 year old to see. I love this board and never had to do anything about it before because my daughter was too young to know any better, but now she's getting to the age where they notice everything. The top of the board is easy, I'll just put a couple of stickers in the areas of concern but the bottom base has an area i'd like to hide. It's not a large area, maybe about 2"x8". I don't care too much about it looking pretty, just want something to hide the graphics. Again, I know I could dump the board and get a new one, but like I said, I love this board and just want an inexpensive way to "cover up" a small area.

Was thinking about coloring it with a sharpie pen but I don't know how that will affect the board.

808,
Sir you have no idea what you are in for; she has not noticed everything yet...wait til she is 15 or 16. I'd say don't worry about it...use it as an opportunity to educate her to the level of questions that she asks...then when she is older at least she'll have a clue and can aptly deal with the shizz.

I am a Dad of a 15 yr old and she has been riding for 8 years and skiing for 2...mostly with boys cause she is that fast....in fact, last night at dinner, daughter says one of her girlfriends' older brother who is 21 ask her to teach him how to ski and is going to take them up the hill (he's quite a good snowboarder, has like 10 or 12 seasons) actually he's a good kid, I've ridden with him and we are good friends with the parents...otherwise it would not be happening.
