Pow board suggestions needed

Hi all,

I'm looking into getting a new Pow board. Live on the east coast and don't get much pow but will be using it when warranted. I'm 6.1 200lbs, I ride and own boards from 157 to 175. I've been looking at the Capita Charlie Slasher 164 but would like to hear opinions.

Anyone ever ridden the Smokin Pinner?

Thanks for any and all opinions!

I just picked up a NS premier f1-r for my pow board, so if you can find a deal on one of those I would consider it. With the variogrip sidecut, it still has great bite if you do end up getting caught on some of that east coast ice. The charlie slasher is also one I was considering and from all accounts is a great pow stick. The Ride Slackcountry would also be a great choice if you got the dough, its got all of Ride's top tech features, and hirize rocker built specifically for pow.

i picked up the salomon sick stick this year. I really like it. Had a few east coast pow days and it really does stay up ontop. on the hardpack it still holds an edge really well even over the rough stuff. I like the bamboo top sheet also, it gives the board good pop. I have only had 4 days on it so far but when i get more time on it i will do a full review.

My k2 podium does amazing in pow. Cuts well, floats perfectly. My other friends sink or slow down alot but I've yet to have that problem
