Default Advice please - is this board right for me?

Hi all, another "is this the right board for me" thread...sorry to bore you.

I know it's all about the weight, more than the height, but here's what I'm thinking.

I've found a Santa Cruz Fusion TT 157 for a VERY good price online.

Now, I'm 6ft 2" and weight about 215 pounds, size 10 (UK size) feet.

I'm not a great snowboarder, but I enjoy small rails, little jumps and basically messing about...not into flying down the mountain at high speed, but do enjoy long runs so I can weave back and forth and look for little bumps etc.

I currently ride a Nitro Phantom 164 and think it's too big for me, it just feels a bit clumsy to me...always had although it's a good, solid board.

I wear Salomon Savage size 10 boots and am about to buy Burton Custom bindings (my cheap Nitro ones give me real foot pain and I've been advised the Customs are much more comfy).

I know the Santa Cruz Fusion TT isn't the best quality board in the world, but I don't need a top quality board at this stage.

So, it 157 definitely too short for me? What do you all think? I know there's no definite yes or no answer, but what are your opinions?

Cheers!

Hey, im 6,2' 195. I was riding a 163 and it felt flimsy and too much board to throw around in the trees and mess around on. I just bought a 2010 bataleon goliath, its a 157. It sounds like a much bigger difference than it really is. I thought it was a huge step down until i stood the two boards side by side. It was only about 3 or 4 fingers. Its so much easier to ride the trees and whip around, much more enjoyable. I kept the 163 for those crazy powder days. The tbt on the bataleon makes it very comparable to the long board in powder though. I also have size 12 boots with burton cartels, very comfy. Burton bindings seem to distribute the pressure nicely

Cheers Rex, sounds like it might be worth the gamble. It's only 120, which I think is a ridiculously low price.
