Custom X vs Travis Rice C2 Banana

Hi, new to the forum here.

I wanted to get a new board this season, ive been riding lib tech for the past 10 years and love them. My mind was so set on a T Rice 157 since I heard good things about the banana and magnatraction. I want to try it out. Lib tech just seems to be more innovative than burton. But then a deal came up, I picked up a brand new 09 Custom X for $280. How do you guys think these 2 boards compare? I like to go fast, hit the trees and any type of kickers, not much of a rail and box guy.

Thanks.

the CX excels at the type of riding you like to do, its a great board but so is the t-rice, i don't know a lot about the t-rice though so i can't really recommend you either way.

The X will do everything you are looking for very well. I've never ridden the t. rice so I can't comment but the CX is a great ride.

Don't go where the road leads, rather go where this is no road and make a trail.

CSTM X i definately a hard charging board. If you like going fast then this is the board for you, it's very stable at high speeds with no chatter what so ever due to how stiff it is. Great for taking off and stomping landings, and it's a Camber board so it's a good all-mountain stick (with the exception of butters, rails, and presses. That being said, it is a VERY stiff board, demo one if you can.
