Hi guys!
Just bought the 164 K2 Zeppelin and I have size 12 feet. I was researching the K2 Zeppelin wide boards and was wondering how much the toe drag would decrease (or if I'd have any at all) by going with the 164 vs the 159W, 163W or 166W? The 164 K2 Zeppelin I bought has a waist width of 25.30cm vs the Zeppelin wide boards with a waist width of 26.40cm (159) to 26.80cm 166). Does the extra 1.1cm to 1.7cm make much of a difference? My full setup K2 164 Zeppelin K2 Auto Ever XL k2 Darko Boa Conda 224lbs 6 feet tall Size 12 feet Looking forward to some advice! Cheers! Last edited by GetUrAssToMars; 01-09-2010 at 01:09 PM. |

From what I've read online size 10 to 12 boots should be fine with anything wider than a 25.5cm waist width. So you're definitely cutting it close according to that, especially since you're wearing a 12.
If you have everything already though, put it all together, strap your boots into the bindings and then tilt the board forward and back to see how much it will take to get toe/heel drag and decide if you ever think you're going to be leaning at those angles. If you're not then you should be fine... |
