Talking Help with Board choice? Beginner

Okay so I'm a beginning snowboarder I just recently moved to CO and i love it and i beginning to love snowboarding i'm 6'4 225 and I wear a size 14 boot. I have been renting boards boots and bindings. Lets just say its not working well. Both times i was given bindings that are almost to small which were nearly impossible to strap on the slopes. So I have just decided to buy but my dilemma is that I know i need a wideboard but I do not know what brand, make, model, etc would work for me but anyway I haven't hit the park yet but I want too so i am just not sure what board is right for me and I could use Suggestions. Oh and money is not a big deal I just want quality. Links would be appreciated.

Gigantor friend of mine rides a NeverSummer Legacy Wide and likes it. He rides about 40% park with me. There is also the NeverSummer Revolver which I think is just a wide Evo (correct me if I'm wrong) so its a little softer than the Legacy which may be good depending on exactly how much park you want to ride.

I also like the Ride DH, which also comes in a wide. I loved the "normal" peoples version for an all mountain deck.

Anybody got suggestions for a bit cheaper decks? I got a buddy with more or less the same body(220 size 13 feet) thats lookin to get into boarding, i just have no idea what to recommend for the sub 300 range...he basically wants an all mountain board...so i would recommend the Legacy but its out of his price range...

The Flow Merc or Sierra Crew are two decent, reasonably priced boards. they both retail for ~$250 and both come in 163w sizes.
