Default Need Help. Size 12 Burton Hail...Will it fit Burton Royale?

I have Burton Hail size 12 from last season, and want to buy a new board. I've heard good things about mid-wides. I started last season on a wide board, and found it to be a bit sluggish, and have been trying to figure if I should go with a regular size board or just stick with wide boards.

I was looking at the Royale 162 which has a Waist Width of 256mm. Is this too small for Size 12 boots with L Cartel Bindings I ride +15, -15. Any help would be great.

I ride a Royale 158 but Im only size 11. I love the board and I cant imagine that the 1 size up would be any trouble. Especially on a slightly bigger board. The Royale has been one of my better investments.

Do you get any toe drag when you carve? Just curious. Also, what angles do you have your bindings at? I guess I should probably take my boots to the store and see how they match up against the waist width.
