Default snowboard edges

hey guys i have a question about tuning your edges cuz its my first time doing it and wanted to know if i do 2 degrees on my base edge if i had to do the same with the side edge to keep it at a 90 degree angle or would it be ok if i just did 2 degrees on my base edge and left my side edge alone?

thanks

I think 2 degrees on your base edge is kind of extreme. 2 degress on you side wall is normal though. Did you search around on google for snowboard edge tuning? It's early monday morning, so I could be having a brain fart, but double check before you put 2 degree base bevel on your board. That can't be undone.

cool, i was looking into this a while back as well and just remembered one site saying don't go more than .5 to 1 degree, must of been more for freeriding or racing.
