New Board Purchase Help - Snowboarding Forum

Hello all. First time post...

I'm 27 years old, 170 lbs, and 5'9'' size 11.5, intermediate/advanced, Vermont and Colorado this year.

I'm looking into upgrading my previous board which was a 164 burton indie. I lost some serious weight and think a shorter board is in order. I'm looking at spending around $350...give or take. I did see a great deal on a custom for 350 at overstock but its a 162...still think thats too long. Anyways can you guys please help me pick something out...thanks!

thanks for the responce...i'm more of a freefide type of guy...what ride boards do you recommend? Also...do i need a wide? Size 11...i know thats a bout the cut off..i'm thinking at lease 25 waist

i got a great deal on a Lib emma peel 159 at a local shop...what you think? 300 out the door.
