I've been toying with the possibility of picking up a set of '08 Black Cartel bindings (price has me stuck on whether or not to buy though... $300!!! ahhhh)
anyway, I have an option icon board (stance pattern of 4X2), and I'm wondering if the bindings will be compatible, cuz my board doesnt have the 3-hole Burton stance pattern... anyone know? I tried googling with limited success... thx. |

wow a mention of Burton within a plethora of rome-centric posts!
careful Kri$h; you might get lynched! ![]() you gotta foto of the things you are pondering over.... coz there's a chance i might have em already and if i do, then i can vouch for them! (yar i got em last year, but it was late season and the geezer (and he was a 'geezer') if i recall correctly said they were next year's model....to which i said 'phooey' but you never know....?)

How dare you even consider buying anything Burton!!! You are now officially banished from this forum!!!!!!!
ok now joking aside the burton bindings should come with an alternate disc for your 4x2 pattern |

ah ok wickedness...
I don't care so much that they are burton, per se... I care more that they have an awesome wratcheting mechanism (alloy too, even though I'm sure lots of bindings do), but the one thing that I like is the toe caps... those gotta be AWESOME for control, and I dunno why more companies don't do that. Drool. ![]() I wanna buy them, but I can't sell my old Sims bindings. (they're only one season old )

ok guys gotta put my 2 pennies in..I now ride a Burton Blunt with Custom bindings.last year I rode Freestyle bindings(cause I was cheap and didnt want to spend much money on bindings). And the toe caps thing feels pretty good nice and snug. And the customs have a good flex.not sure about the Cartel's.But I think that the disc should fit the 4x2 pattern. If im not mistaken the old freestyle bindings(which is the same as the customs disc), I rode last year fit on an old K2 board which had the 4x2 pattern.
