I want to buy an edge tool, but one of my boards has a 2.5 degree bevel (hatchet). I don't want to buy a tool that I won't be able to do all my boards with so I'm looking for an adjustable one. I've made a bit of research, and looks like there aren't that many of them that go past 2 degrees (that are actually affordable)..

I have a burton blunt 08 i have not detuned yet.. and i do not know i it came beveld or what. i have heard that you should know what your board is currently at before you sharpen or else you can tottally lose your edge.
is this true? if so i was thinking about getting one of those quick handheld sharpeners |
