Need advice on snowboard choice

Yet another "give me advice" thread

Background
I consider myself intermediate/advanced rider.
I have been snowboarding for 20+ years (but only about 25 weeks in total).
I can handle black/diamond runs, but prefer red/blue.
I can carve really well (almost can get that elbow down).
I'm 177cm tall (5.8).
I weigh 75kg (165 pounds).
Male.

I want to be able to:
Butter/Press.
Ollies, Nollies, Nose rolls.
Ride switch.
Carve good enough.
Handle hardpack/ice.
And some backcountry off-piste (but no priority)

Currently I have a Lib Tech TRS 157 (2016) and I love it. I can carve. I can ride switch and handles hardpack like a king.
BUT, nose rolls, ollies etc is takes huge amount of effort. Feels like a concrete board.
I'm told Lib Techs will get softer after a "break in", but I have ridden mine for 25 days now and I want to progress with buttering tricks...:frown:

So, is there a magic board that can satisfy my requirements?
I'm thinking Yes Typo 155 might be a candidate? What do you guys think? Any other options? Or will my TRS soften up? Or do I simple just suck at buttering/press?

Unfortunately I think that's your answer. Technique and balance is key here, yes a more flexible board will help but the TRS is not a hard board to butter by any means. 157 would be a touch big for you as a 'playful' board is likely why you enjoy it elsewhere. The typo would definitely be an improvement for butters and ollies but likely at the expense of grip when it's really icy.

But. We love to encourage the buying of new boards, so if you're happy to spend the money go for it! I'd say get a freestyle lesson first, and then if you still can't get it to 'click' pull the trigger on a typo, or about 10 other suitable boards.

Currently I can get a really good deal on a Yes Typo 155 2016/2017 demo board (mint condition for 275 USD), I probably will be able to sell my Lib Tech TRS for slightly more.
Or I might keep my TRS (and purchase the Typo) so that I can shift back to that once I progress more in butters/flatland tricks.

Any suggestions on other suitable boards?
