anybody with NS Legacy R or Revolver R in the 195-205lb range? - Snowboarding Forum

I'm about 200lbs in my boxers (tag on another 5lbs with boots pants, jacket etc), size 12 boot looking to try the BTX or RC stuff. I usually mix it up when I ride so either a park or all mountain mid board would be good. I brought a Rider's Choice 159 but returned it. I'm current on a Ride Dose 162 w/Rome 390's.

Is there anybody in that range that offer some feedback with either a 159 or 161? Or should I go with a 163?

Revolver is going to be a park only board for anyone near your weight. Go with the Legacy-R 161 for an AM board.

Legacy-R 161, i am 6'2" 230 & I picked up a 163. Board is pretty awesome.

I ride a 159, however I only weight 160lbs on a good day, but I ride the 159 cus I am also 6'4.

Anyway. I love the Legacy R. I swear by the board, and it has definnitely risen my riding abilities, and gives me way more confidence every day I am at my mountains.

Don't know how else to say it, but I definitely give this board my 2 thumbs up. Love it!

I am 6' about 215 pounds. I've bought a Legacy about 5 years ago (so this isn't the rocker version) size 163. It's worked fine for me for 5 + winters.

Thanks ya'll! I'm going to check out the 161! I keep hearing nothing but good things about this deck!

I have a 159 revolver-r and I wiegh 215 its fine in the park and on/near groomers but in pow it is um um um....really exhausting :P

Agree......I'm 6' 2", 180lbs and have the 09 Legacy-R and cannot say enough how much I love this board! So stable and fast.

I'm 200lbs+, size 13s, and rock a revolver 156. The whole mountain is my park. I've had a legacy 163 and it felt like a truck. It was slow edge to edge, felt cumbersome, hard to spin, and heavy. You shouldn't need a 26.5+ waist unless you ride a really narrow stance. If you want a longer board look at the 161 SL-R, or even the evo-r 161. NS boards are mid wide, and the wides are WIDE.
