Hi guys, I only joined a few weeks ago and waded in with my newb questions, (im not a newb to riding been at it 13 years) for a few points selecting a new board, as tech has moved on somewhat since my 2007 evil twin and 2009 airobic and choosing amongst the revered brands was nigh on impossible.
I wanted a premium board at a discount hence buying now, that had some draw backs as my short list was affected by lengths and widths disappearing right in front of my eyes ruling some boards like the jones mountain twin and the bryan iguchi pro camber out of the running before my works bonus hit the bank.
So to cut a long story short,
I am now the proud owner of a Arbor Coda camber! >:)
A big thanks to all the advice you guys gave out. i was really flim flamming between a few brands/boards and managed to shake the nagging brand loyalty by going to the corner of my lounge and looking at all the topsheet damage on my 2 bataleons
now i just have to caress it for 9 months till next season!

I'd love that. Here in IL, we don't get snow and don't have mountains. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford monthly trips to CO in the winter. The weather has been so bad there though our last trip coming up is in Alaska because it is still cold and snowy. So I could see how Alberta would have 6 month long seasons.
