beginner woman's board??? - Snowboarding Forum

Hi all,

5'4

122 lbs

beginner (in southern ca)

i found boots, Vans Savior (6 1/2) that fit well.

interested finding a board that will last me 5 years, as i progress. some suggestions from local salesmen have been:

Ride Solace
Ride Vista
K2 Luna
Burton Feather
Burton Stigma

I have no idea which one to pick!!! If money is not an option, what would you choose?

I bought my girlfriend a Ride Vista 3yrs ago and it's still going strong. I just bought her a new board X-mas but you can count on the Vista holding up while you learn and it will allow you to progress into the high intermediate range.

I'm gonna toss in te O-Matic Tara Dakides, Atomic Tuesday, Rome Vinyl/Detail. Pretty much all of the boards listed will do fine for you.

boarder, i'll save you the breath...

boarder is a SHE. yes i know, hard to believe a girl knows as much if not more than most guys

hehe, jk. but yeah, she's a girl.

LOL!!! I don't care anymore...I hang out with so many guys in different sports, that I sometimes think that I'm one of the guys...

thanks everyone, i actually wound up with the burton lux and got tons of help at my local board shop.

I just bought my gf an 07/08 ride rapture for $240, she doesn't like to go too fast, just likes to hop around on the snowboard.
