You think this is for me? Artifact 1985 - Snowboarding Forum

Im lookin for a fun, soft, skateboard like board, and ive been looking around and i think this might be the one for me. A Rome Artifact 1985, 147. Im 5'6ish about 140 pounds, whatdo you guys think? is this the one?
also, got any bindings you would recommend? i have size 10 burton impact 2 boots.

Dunno about the 1985's since they're reverse camber, but I have one of last year's regular camber artifacts and its super fun. So I'd definitely recommend it. As for bindings, I had some Ride Delta's on mine for added fun.

what exactly does the reverse camber do?

reverse camber is when the board is shaped liked a skateboard. It is relatively easier to turn etc.

by your description, it sounds like you want reverse camber

get the rome 390's with that board

got it in 144. Its amazing. effortless press and butters. It's a noodle. i have cartels on mine, looking to get 390's for it.

well i found out i can get burton missions extremlllllly cheap. how would those work out? ive read that they are all mountain, and really comfy.

i have never rode burton missions, my friend does though, and he really likes them. They have held up to alot of abuse. if ya cna get them cheap go for it

should be alright. I'm about 2 inches shorter and like 115. 147 will be good.
