Umm is this fixable?

Or do i stick a fork in it and call it done.

Pretty sure this happened while trying tamedogs on a less than ideal jump. Landed on my side a few times, but didnt notice it until the end of the day.

Was thinking i could dry it out, and possibly stick some glue in there and keep using it for jibs and as a beater board

Had planned on trying for one more day this season, but with a broken board, bindings falling apart (will check with flow if it is warrantyable), and my favorite gloves getting completely trashed, not to mention a badly grazed knee (pool skimming comp/boardshorts), i think i will call it for 2016/2017

On another note, does anyone make a board like the Echelon killbox with 3D raised edges? Tried Bataleon 3BT but it wasnt the same.

It looks like it's just topsheet damage. It should be relatively an easy fix. I've had similar damage but not as long as yours. I just got some marine grade epoxy and used a clamp to fix mine. It doesn't look as nice but haven't had any issues riding it. Take it to a shop if you don't feel comfortable working on it. It shouldn't cost much to get it fixed.

Rossignol makes boards with raised edges. Angus and few other models I believe.

Hard to tell from pictures but it looks like that's effecting the core too. Best way to tell is to flex the nose and tail to compare, should be pretty obvious if the core's cracked as well. Definitely still useable as a beater though.

Endeavor and Arbor have some models with raised edges near the contacts, or do you want full length? Marhar has the lumberjack, not sure if they do it on any other more park focused models.

I left the board up at my holiday apartment, i will check it next time i am there. Didnt think to check the flex on the nose and tail. Suppose if it has affected the flex I might just replace it.

I heard the Echelon used Marhar tech for their boards, so its possible the 3D rocker is the same. The Liftem and Half-breed look like they could be contenders (especially the 151 wide). Both listed as sold out; and doesnt look like they are available on discount sites :( I will have a look again next season, but i prefer to buy boards in the offseason sales.

Oh i hope so. Really do want to keep this board a little longer and for the most part it felt ok, ollies etc still felt fine.

Will look at the Rossi, i havent actually seen these in the shops here but the info i see online looks promising

Edit: Recommended length for my weight is 156 or 158, which would make it by far the longest board i own. Not that i am against longer boards, but i want something short and fat for my park board...

I have a brand new Echelon, still wrapped in plastic.

Only noticed it had raised edges a few weeks ago.
Hard to see a bit with the plastic on.

Yeah it's pretty cool looking.
Nothing like tbt

Not sure if yours was full rocker or not?
This one is, so full rocker with the raised edges thing.

Want it?
I may have to try it once first though, :embarrased1:>:)

Cause I've never seen a board like this before haha.

Yeah mine is full rocker with raised edges. Its also a short (149), and wide board so the weight range is the same as your typical 154 or whatever.

Raised edges are so much fun. Took me half a run to get used to it though you need to get the board up on a higher angle to make the turn, but its spin city once you start turning. Kind of a bitch to wax though since the beveled edges are a litte bit like a gullwing.

What model is the one you have?

Any idea of how much a board would cost to ship from Canada to Japan? I have a feeling that would be more than the snowboard :D And no chance you are interested in a trade for an Echelon Ares with Killbox graphics (Duck Hunt on the top, Echelon looking like the nintendo logo on the bottom)?
It is a sample board apparently with 4 x 4 bolt pattern instead of 4 x 2 like most boards these days. 154 Traditional camber twin, stiff, sintered base. Ridden for one day but i quickly realised i prefer soft and playful rather than hard charging.

Oh yeah and i guess i shouldnt have kept practing tamedogs...
