Most boards do come with a thin coat of wax but I always wax mine anyways.

wax it.

The wax you have on will last you like 2 runs. It's factory wax, made to keep the board looking fresh in the shop.

Although my buddy told me he'd been 7x on his new Burton without waxing.

Mine didn't come waxed.

don't take chances. it's 10 bucks anyways. Or even better, buy your own waxing equipment.
