Oh was it an amazing deal? Should I have tried to go down a bit more? And what are Cartel Bindings? Are they worse than Burton Freestyle bindings?

Well it was a good deal considering it's your first board? I paid only $60 for my first ever board off Craigslist and it was more than sufficient as a newbie (but the bindings looked like they were going to break so I replaced them with used Burton Missions..)

and Cartel bindings are part of the Burton binding line up.

Tough to say from the pics but it seems okay? Cartels are good bindings. If it's your first board, make sure to adjust the stance (angle and width..) to something you're comfortable with or you're not going to enjoy your day..

For 100 USD you got a pretty damn good deal. The bindings look a tad beat up, the board looks to be in good shape though..just go get it tuned/waxed at a shop.
