Default New-B starting snowboarding in the Austrian Alps (Not a joke need some advice).

Hey guys,

Just to let everyone know I am in the military stationed in Germany and I am taking a trip to the Austrian Alps at the end of Jan. I have never done anything in the snow before besides sledding.

This is what I picked up for my started kit.

1) Lamar Intrigue 06 All Mountain Snowboard - 159cm
2) Lamar MX15 07 Men's Hard Snowboard Bindings
3) Lamar Justice 07 Men's Snowboard Boots

I know I went with all Lamar but it was a package deal and with shipping to Germany it only cost me $290

So this is the deal. I have been reading up on "How to Snowboard". But what can you seasoned experts tell me. I have picked up all the gear including glove, coat, pant, and padded underwear. Really I got padded underwear.
