any reason i should not get a skate banana?

looking for:
powder board
park board (pretty flexy)
groomer board
High-school level racing (not very serious, a few guys on ours and other teams have one)
something all around super fun.
from what ive been told and heard, this board is the shit and would shred all of this stuff.

Good

It does a lot of things fairly well, but racing is the weak point in your list of requirements.

Skate Bananas are weak outside the park. Hit any chop or crud or high speeds and it feels terrible.

You might want to look into the Dark series or Banana Magic. If being flexy is something you want more than stability at high speed get the Banana.

as far as I'm concerened, everything. I don't think a partial wrap board is something I'd buy.

this has been debated countless times but anyone with a mervin board that has damaged the edges or any good tech will tell you non wrapped edges make for easier faster and less expensive repair ... had nearly the same damage on a banana and a capita .. banana was turned out in 24 hrs and 30 bucks ...capita held for three days and would have cost 80-90 bucks but got cut a break on friend prices and got it for 50 bucks ...

The banana good all around board but excels in the park. Its worst performance is high speed on groomers so as others said it would be very poor for racing. The lib trs is a tad stiffer and will perform better at speed.
