Skate banana length/ width - Snowboarding Forum

i want to pick up a 148 skate banana but the damn thing is a narrow board, i have size 9.5 32 boots and large Rome Targa bindings... im assuming i will run into some over hang problems and will have to go for the 152cm instead... does anyone know if a 148 will work for me?

Go for the 148, a little overhang isn't really going to affect your riding...

whats your weight?
idk about boot szie with teh SBs becasue some of them are listed as Narrow and are 1cm narrower than the others.

135lbs,
i have a forum JP walker and its waist width is 25.5cm, and the SB is 24.2, so 13mm isnt all that much... i just looked at my boots strapped in, the heel/toe is centered with the board and i think if i lost 13mm in width they would still be alright.

there are only 2 local board stores in my area, the one doesnt have (or carry) the skate banana, and the other only has the 152 and 156... they say i should go with the 152, but i think its just because they wont be getting the 148 in stock this late into the season and just want to make a sale

If the board is going to stay in the park then get the 148. Worst case is you have to get some binding risers to help with the overhang.

it will primarily be used in the park, im eastcoast (ontario more specific) there's nothing big near me to ride, so even out on the slopes i wont be demanding much from the 148
and when i go somewhere big(ish) i'll take my 154 Forum along with
