I have a question for anyone that has actually used the following snowboards and their thoughts and opinions on them.

I recently got into snowboarding, and up to this date I have been using a Nitro Magnum Gunslinger 165 wide board. I am 6'2" and around 250lbs with a size 13 boot. I am still in the learning stage as far as doing turns and such. I recently spoke to one of the trainers about my problems with turning and several of them stated that the board that I was using was too stiff as far as being in the beginner stage. I later spoke to several merchants on a softer, more flexible board for beginners and they suggested that I use the Never-summer Legacy-R 163. They also suggested the Burton board for beginners but also stated that I would grow out of that board after several years. My question is for those that have used the Nitro Magnum and the Never-summer Legacy-R board as to which board would they suggest for a beginner that will actually progress with me as I progress.
