Looking ahead to next season - Snowboarding Forum

Since I probably won't be out anymore this season (lack of money) I decided that my 4 year old board is going to need replacing. I've been browsing websites just looking at what places are offer. I've noticed on Lib-Techs website labels like BTX and MTX. What do they mean? I'm a taller and bigger guy (recently started working on the bigger part, so hopefully I'll have shed a few pounds by the time I'm ready to buy), but I haven't seen too many longer/wider boards. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spots?

I see BTX is banana + magne traction and MTX is just magna traction? What are the benefits of BTX compared to just MTX? Also blunt tipped and pointy?
