Do i need a wide?
I have size 10 nike zoom force 1's in union force L/XL with the toe pedal/tray all the way out. Do i need a wide board?

no, you shouldn't.

why do you have the tray out so far? seems pretty unnecessary for your size foot.

push that thing back in.

my thoughts exactly. i thought with a size 10 boot, the tray would be all the way in. But i went to several other threads and looked at peoples pictures like this and my boot is hanging off of the edge by an inch max and the boot is sitting firmly in the heelcup which is is the furthest back it can go. I think nike just has a really large profile boot

What's the width of your current board and what angles do you run?

Overall, you should not need a wide board.

These are the size 10's on L/XL union forces with the trey in the middle setting.
Can someone tell me if I set these up correctly? Do i need a wide board? Does this look centered? Ive never set up my own board so this is a first.

i dont know how wide my board is. its a 157 banana magic. i ride 15 -15. Its crazy how bulky these nike boots are. I thought they'd be low-normal profile but they are huge!

you wont need a wide board, the amount of overhang in your pic is normal. just make sure your boot is centered on the board, that you have the same amount of overhang on the toes as your heel. if you are still concerned strap your boots too your board and sit it on the floor, then angle the board on its edge as if you were carving. you'll see how deep you would have to lean till your toes caught. but you should be fine. A wide board with a 10 boot will be very hard to link turns , edge to edge response time will be reduced pretty drastically

how do you know if the overhang on the heel is more than the toe. Its all within the heel cup. thanks for the help

here is another picture from a different angle.

plus in this last picture, the trey is only in the middle setting. If i pull it all the way out, the overhang will be even less and Id have to push the heelcup forward.

do you think it is balanced?
