I'm an intermediate rider that needs some recommendations for a free riding board with a bit of flex so I can have the option of going to the park and what not if I choose. I'm approximately 5'1, 100 lbs and a majority of my riding is in Ontario, Canada.
Thanks for help in advance. |

I'd recommend the K2 Duchess (I have one). It's a great all-mountain board. I like my boards on the stiffer side, I don't have any interest in park, gravitating towards big mountain free-riding and hopefully some backcountry in my future. The K2 has a medium flex and is very light, not to noodly and not too stiff. She makes nice tight turns and is stable enough for pow and steeps, but just enough flex to take it in the park as well.
But..if you're riding in Canada, that's icy right? You may want to look in to something with magne traction.
