Hey all, beginner here. My first time snowboarding I was going down the hill way too fast and hit some ice and the board turned on me. I wasn't leaning back so the edge dug in. I hit the ground so hard. I felt my collar bone break the instant I hit. That was in 2006. I went last weekend for the first time since my accident. I was getting flashbacks and stuff. I eventually became more comfortable and it was a blast. I don't want to rent a board anymore though. Sorry, I'm rambling. I need some help on a setup. I'm 6'0", 176 lbs, size 12/13 boot. I was thinking of a softer wide board? It's income tax time so it doesn't have to be cheap. I don't know one brand from another so any input is appreciated.

Hi guys, i am a beginner. I am 5'9", 182 lbs, size boot - 10/11. I want to buy a good snowboard and bindings, but dont know much about this. Could you help me, - what size of board do i need, what size of bindings too. And want to hear professional opinion what types of these things are the best related to price and quality. i have heard a lot about BURTON, but dont know difference between these board series (Burton Custom, Custom X, T). What are they used for. What is the best and why. the same about Bindings ( P1 , P1.1, Cartel ,triad).
And what about other makers (K2, Salomon,Nitro, Rossignol etc.) I hope you help me. Thank You in advance!!! |
