but i ride a burton custom and its fun in the pipe, you could get an 08/09 custom for cheap then again...i see chris bradshaw havin a lot of fun in the pipe on a technine...so I dont really know if the board matters that much ... (all things considered, I would go with the Sierra Crew if I were you) Last edited by Enigmatic; 02-12-2010 at 10:24 PM. |

The thing to understand about what you're looking for is you need a board with more contact length when on edge as that's where all your control is. A zero camber board is going to be your best bet as it provides a constant effective edge. Camber is tried and true and will give you a lot of what you're used to. Rocker isn't what you want it just doesn't grip enough. The only real reverse I've found that works is Omatics B.S. Tech s and Never Summer R.C. tech.
Personally I'd go zero camber and look at either the Salomon Answer or the K2 Believer. If you did go camber then the Ride Concept UL (probably my favorite pipe board to date) or if you can wait till next year snag the Omatic Celebrity B.S. (Louie Vito's pro model).
