NS SL-R for $400, should I?

Got word of a shop selling the Never Summer SL-R ($500 retail) for 20% off. Don't need it for this season so I can wait to see if I find it cheaper in the spring. What do you guys think, will I find it much cheaper?

Oh yea and I like last years graphics much better, more plain and the base is black(easiest to see wax when hot waxing). Neon green base, ugh . If anyone knows where I can get last years model brand new, I'd take it at any price.

It will be really hard to find later on. That being said EMS had them online the other day for 50% off, only size 161 though. If you wait, you will definitely be taking your chances.

depends on what size you're after. The more popular sizes (155, 158, etc) will be nearly impossible to find if you wait much longer. I highly doubt you'll find a new last year's model anywhere, unless one randomly pops up on ebay

Yea that's why I said I'd take last years "at any price" haha, it's too late to find those.

I'm lookin for the 151cm. hmmm, pay $400 and have it for the rest of this season, or risk it and find a slammin deal. decisions decisions

I got a 161 for $350, but man....they're hard to find for any price. Only time will tell, but I'd be concerned about sell outs everywhere. Personally, I don't care what the base looks like. If I can see while riding, I've got bigger concerns.

if you don't need it I would wait. It is possible you will find a used one for cheap later, or by next season you might even want a completely different board. If you are happy with what you currently have no reason to spend the money.

I'd say take it now if you really want the board and don't want to take the chances.
